John Dunne interview, 1984 Aug. 16.

As a returning veteran, Dunne describes the veterans as smokejumpers and talks of the psychology of the veteran and the use of the job of smokejumper as a transition from the war to civilian life. He also talks of the change from veterans to college students as smokejumpers and the effects of the Mann Gulch fire.
